Stop by a local market, pick up your favorite ingredients, pour a glass of wine, and turn cooking into part of the experience. The cabin is stocked with cookware, a crockpot, pizza stone, olive oil, salt, and spices to make the evening feel easy and relaxed once you settle in.
Put on a cozy playlist, slow down, and enjoy the simple moments of cooking together. This experience is less about perfection and more about creating memories side by side.
You’ll also find our Date Night Cookbook filled with cozy recipes and playful prompts designed specifically for couples cooking together.
This experience really isn’t about making the perfect meal, it’s about cooking side by side, laughing in the kitchen, pouring another glass of wine, and making simple moments feel meaningful again.
WOOD-BURNING STOVE: Please use extra caution when cooking with the indoor wood-burning stove, as surfaces can become extremely hot during use.
PIZZA STONE: Allow the pizza stone to fully cool before handling or cleaning.
VENTILATION: Crack a window slightly if needed while cooking to keep the cabin comfortable and ventilated.
CLEAN UP: Please wash used cookware and return all cooking items after use.
COOK TIMES: Wood-burning stove temperatures can vary, so we recommend checking your food often and rotating pizzas as needed.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Don’t stress about making the perfect meal, this experience is about slowing down, cooking together, and enjoying the moment.
How to light the wood burning stove
Pizza Night
One of our absolute favorite things to make at the cabin is personal-sized pizzas using the pizza stone and indoor wood-burning stove. There’s something so cozy about cooking together by the fire.
Because the pizza is cooked using the indoor wood-burning stove, we recommend enjoying this experience during cooler months rather than the summer season.
Pizza Night Shopping List:
Pizza dough
Pizza Sauce
Mozzarella Cheese
Pepperoni or favorite toppings
Olive oil
Flour for stretching dough
Simple Steps:
Start a fire and allow the stove to heat up.
Stretch your dough across the pizza stone. Before adding your toppings, place the pizza dough carefully into the wood burning stove and let the dough cook.
Take it out of the oven, add sauce, cheese and your favorite toppings and then put it back into the woodburning stove until the cheese is melted. Rotate occasionally and watch closely as cook times can vary depending on stove temperature.
Pour some wine, put on music, and enjoy the experience together!
